3 3/4 inch GI Joes were first made by Hasbro Toy Company in 1982. These GIJoes were named by their code names rather than just GI Joe like the 12 inch GI Joes were. These GI Joes packaged on cards with bubbles to hold the figures and GI Joe weapons. Most GI Joes came with their back packs and weapons. All GI Joes came with a command dossier (file card) detailing the GIJoe figure's personal data, military specialties, and a synopsis of each GI Joes character.
